Gianmarc Manzione is a poet, journalist, podcaster and educator whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Paris Review, The Southern Review, The Southeast Review, Raritan, and many other publications. His non-fiction book, Pin Action: Small-Time Gangsters, High-Stakes Gambling, and the Teenage Hustler Who Became a Bowling Champion, was published by Pegasus Books and subsequently optioned for film by Gold Circle Films. He is represented by the Defiore and Company literary agency in New York, and he has taught English and creative writing at the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, and the College of Central Florida. He currently works as Editor of the nation's longest-running monthly sports magazine, Bowlers Journal International. In that position, he has provided award-winning coverage of the COVID-19 crisis, the #MeToo and Black Lives Matter movements, the epidemic of gun violence in American schools, and many other topics of our time.
